Questions that come up
Which Shopify plan do I need?
Any of them. Nothing in these tools needs Shopify Plus, including the checkout rules the Gang Sheet Builder relies on.
Will this work with my theme?
Any Online Store 2.0 theme, which covers Dawn and everything released since. On an older theme the builder still works at its own address, but the button has to be linked by hand.
What permissions does the app ask for, and why?
Products, so it can create and price the item your cart needs. Orders and draft orders, so a sheet can reach you. Checkout validation, so the price cannot be edited. Publishing, so the product reaches your Online Store. It cannot read customer records, and does not ask to.
I uninstalled. What happens to my files?
Access tokens are deleted immediately, since they stop working anyway. Everything else, including artwork and finished sheets, is deleted when Shopify sends the redaction request 48 hours later. Download anything you need before uninstalling.
Something is broken. What do you need from me?
Your .myshopify.com address, the job reference
from the order if it concerns one sheet, and what you saw on
screen. Those three usually turn a support thread into one
reply. Write here.
Can you set it up for me?
Yes, that falls under store work. Setup for the tools themselves is straightforward enough that most merchants do not need it.
When will the other tools be ready?
They ship when they have been earning their keep in a real shop long enough to trust. The tools page shows where each one stands, and asking to be told when one ships is the fastest way to hear.
